At 18, I met the love of my life, José Carlos Alfaro, who had also immigrated from our homeland at 18. We fell in love and married in 2005 when I was 19 and he was 25, ready to build our American dream together.
Today, we are blessed to be the proud parents of four wonderful children—three boys and one girl who fill our lives with joy and purpose. In our early years together, before children, José Carlos and I both worked in restaurants, learning the value of hard work and customer service. But when our first child arrived, everything changed. I made the decision to start cleaning homes, and we realized this could be more than just a job—it could be our path to entrepreneurship and the flexibility we needed to spend precious time with our growing family.
